Job Description

The purpose of a Maintenance Mechanic II is to perform general preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and repairs of all conveyors, production equipment and building-related equipment.  This requires an intermediate working knowledge for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems to be able to detect minor problems and correct them before they become larger problems.  The Maintenance Mechanic II regularly responds to production critical issues, provides troubleshooting assistance, and makes adjustments and repairs as needed.  This is a mid-level position with promotion potential to Maintenance Mechanic III position by completing and demonstrating proficiency in all related Maintenance Mechanic III job requirements.


Job Requirements

High School Diploma and 3 years experience



• Industrial mechanic trade school courses or certificate (i.e., electrical, controls)

• Working knowledge of standard building codes and safety regulations

• Previous experience with and working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyor and related systems in a fast paced production environment.

• Previous experience with Dematic conveyors and related production equipment and systems (i.e., Rapid Route, Flex Sort, Crown, Raymond)

• Good computer skills

The Successful individual must have working experience with Wallet, TSM or both.

The Sr. Product Manager for Datacard’s Mobile credentialing solutions brings a disciplined, business- oriented approach to product planning and management of mobile based credentialing offerings designed for the financial and identity markets. In addition to owning and being the lead for the mobile products, the role includes working with the finalize vertical market leaders to create and drive the strategic direction and positioning of the mobile offerings in in its entirety, including all aspects of the solution: services, other Datacard products and 3rd party products.  This role will require strong coordination with other Datacard product managers that are responsible for hardware and other software products that encompass this solution.  In addition, this role will liaise heavily with professional services regarding all aspects of product delivery, support and integration. 


With a deep knowledge of the global mobile payment and identity market needs and requirements, the Product Manager will translate this knowledge into competitive enterprise system strategies, system plans and specific marketing requirements that drive engineering and ultimately deliver products and services with unique value to customers.

Accountabilities:


Key Actions 

  • Take a proactive approach addressing all solution needs and requirements gaps to quickly capture market share as the mobile ecosystem continues to evolve
  • Prepare and present recommendations to management on market opportunities, product performance and investment requirements to facilitate business planning and decision making
  • Create business plans that define and justify the product investment, revenue and ROI opportunity of new and existing programs
  • Working with vertical teams to analyze markets, identify and segment key customer groups, competitive research, analyzing industry and technology trends, and incorporating these into product plans that optimize the tradeoffs between market opportunities, product content, and product timing
  • Drive aggressive time to scale of software development, marketing, sales, deployment and support activities for this emerging solution.
  • Closely integrate and align mobile plan with regional financial vertical market plans
  • Performing technical assessments of complimentary and competitive product solutions
  • Define clear differentiated value proposition direction to the company and the market
  • Define and document product requirements through Market Requirements and Product Requirements Documents, use cases and user interface diagrams
  • Actively pursue voice of customer measurement and action activities to drive strategies, execution and portfolio roadmaps
  • Define and implement the relevant Go-to-Market plan, including channel strategies.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Software Engineering
  • Must have experience in Wallet, TSM or both.
  • Experience working with Smart Cards, NFC projects, Telecommunications or IT organization
