Project Manager at Richfield

Our client is seeking a Project Manager in Richfield, Minnesota (MN).

Description:
The Manager participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned project(s). Assigned projects may be general or systems related in nature. This person interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs.

Responsible for managing project activity for a medium to large sized functional area. May be responsible for a larger project or may be assigned several medium sized projects. Projects are more complex and require extensive analysis. Projects are generally completed in nine to twelve months. Has a thorough to comprehensive level of knowledge of assigned business function and thorough technical skills.

This position facilitates the implementation of business line initiatives. The project manager will work closely with the Business line subject matter experts and IT units across the full project lifecycle (planning through implementation) on small, medium, large, or enterprise-wide projects.

Major responsibilities: Lead Core Business Line Team meetings, Identify, track, monitor tasks, identify key risk indicators and communicate projected-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the project, coordinate implementation activities. Projects may vary from new software development, system upgrades or process workflow improvements.

Project Manager Qualifications:

• A bachelors degree; Masters degree preferred.


• 5-8 years of Project Management experience; Call Center or Banking experience preferred


• Thorough to comprehensive level of knowledge of assigned business function and thorough technical skills.


• Possesses a strong ability to influence up, down, and across departments.


• Strong ability to manage change


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Able to adjust communication & presentations to fit the audience.


• Advanced MS Project, MS Visio, & MS Office Suite skills


• Ability to work independently and learn quickly
