Job Description:
As a key business partner, and a primary contractual interface with internal customers, the Supplier Analyst provides the necessary expertise to deal with complex contracting and business issues or situations. Responsible for managing the lifecycle of high-spend, high-volume technology-related contracts to support business line strategies and go-to-market initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in driving IT-spend strategy by negotiating best-in-class contract terms, conditions, and pricing
- Draft, negotiate, and process technology contracts and any related documentation including: master agreements, maintenance agreements, amendments, schedules, etc.
- Initiate the RFI / RFP process to determine the best-suited vendor
- Establish and maintain long-term, partner relationships with internal customers and vendors
- Request, pursue, and thoroughly analyze contract information from business lines throughout the contract lifecycle
- Attend and participate in internal and vendor meetings
- Leverage analytical skills to support contract and fee schedule creation and maintenance
- Evaluate new and existing vendors for suitability of business line needs
- Collaborate with legal department
- Provide strategic direction and support to team members
- Work independently on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
- Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results, with minimal or no direction or direct supervision
- Ensure contractual processes, standards, and legal requirements are acknowledged and met
