APPRENTICE METER
TECHNICIAN

Crow Wing power has a
position open for an
Apprentice Meter Technician working in the Power Quality Department. This position will work in the AMI metering area of the Power Quality
Department and will be
responsible for assisting the team to support our mission of giving adequate, reliable supply of electric energy to our membership.

Qualification/Requirements:
€ Must have completed a
successful accredited 2 year Construction Electricity course
€ Must have a MN Class A Journeyman’s License or a minimum of approximately 6000 hours working as
an apprentice electrician with a goal of obtaining a MN Class A Journeyman’s
License
€ Must have a Minnesota State Driver’s License
€ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
€ Strong computer skills and with proficiency in software programs
€ Background or experience with electronics is desired
€ Residency Clause (15 miles with 20 minute max.
response time)
