A Business Systems Analyst (BSA) performs analysis of business goals, objectives and requirements of the business.A BSA designs solutions for improving productivity and efficiency of the business processes. BSA does research on reported incidents, service requests, and projects to develop plans and proposes solutions, coordinates the problem solving process and ensures that the business standards and requirements are met. Analyst provides recommendations for system enhancements and improvements that support business requirements, systems, applications and activities, and following the IS Project Governance processes, leads the initiatives to implementation.This includes authoring various Governance related documents, managing communications, and building business relationships.
They may also be familiar with programming languages, operating systems, and computer hardware platforms as they often translate user requests into functional/technical requirements.They are a key link between IS and business users.
Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare setting preferred.AMISYS application knowledge.
Previous Business Systems Analyst experience in a healthcare environment is strongly preferred, along with the ability to build relationships with the IS and business team members.
Two year degree in data processing preferred. Related field or relevant work experience considered.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
