Lead Software Engineer- Salesforce at Hopkins

Opportunity:

Digi is seeking motivated software engineer to join our team to develop and expand our device cloud. We are leading technology in enabling the Internet of Things through our device cloud. Digi Engineers work in a collaborative environment to solve tough problems and to create technology to provide reliable real-time data to a variety of different vertical markets including tank, energy, medical, and transportation. As part of the Digi engineering team, you will design, develop, troubleshoot, debug and modify large-scale, distributed systems.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Design and develop custom code for salesforce.com application enhancements
• Design and develop custom code for data migration and integration
• Develop and document regression, use case and unit test scenarios
• Define and monitor compliance with code check-in, backup/recovery and versioning processes
• Develop entity and data mapping for data integration and migration

 

Position Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 5+ years related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of demonstrated consulting and/or software development experience
• Force.com Developer Certification ( or within 3 months of hire)
• Awareness of data migration and integration considerations, design trade-offs, common ETL tools and data test plans
• Experience in object oriented programming
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and technologies, e.g. APEX, Visualfoce, Java, .NET, OO Technologies database development, SQL, web development, etc.
• Experience in software development methodologies, E.g. Agile, Waterfall
• Understanding of Force.com platform
