Reimbursement Specialist 3 at Golden Valley

Our client is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist in Golden Valley, MN. This role performs healthcare information and medical claims processing, healthcare billing and collection services, and provides financial guidance regarding hospital, HMO, clinical services to patients, their families and third-party representatives.

Duties:

• Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility coverage for drug benefits.


• Function as a liaison between special drug program patients and their insurance companies.


• Performs healthcare information and medical claims processing, healthcare billing and collection services, and provides financial guidance regarding hospital, HMO, clinical services to patients, their families and third-party representatives.


• Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility coverage for drug benefits.


• Function as a liaison between special drug program patients and their insurance companies.

• High School diploma or equivalent


• College level course work in business or accounting helpful.


• Minimum 2 year reimbursement operations experience which may include insurance verification, billing, claim adjudication.


• Billing and Coding experience or certification very helpful.


• Experience in health care roles very helpful as well.
