Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and management of technology service functions pertaining to time-keeping systems and legal industry benchmarking.


• Systems support and development for a web-based benchmarking program, including systems maintenance and development for data capture, ETL, and web-based presentation


• Maintenance for the Peer Monitor manager program, which captures data from law firm timekeeping systems, using SQL Server database technology, Visual Studio and .NET Framework


• Maintenance for a SAS web-based application


• Assistance* with troubleshooting application and Implementation issues


• Assistance with technical development strategies for future growth on both product platforms

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Four-year degree in systems or equivalent business experience preferred


• Experience with server maintenance and configuration


• A working knowledge of .Net framework and tools for version 2.0 and higher


• Experience with programming in Visual Studio 2005 and higher


• Experience with MSSQL Server for versions SQL 2005 and higher*


• Experience with MySQL, OLAP cubes, knowledge of Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) preferred


• Fundamental web-based technology skills including HTML, Java, JavaScript,) and capability to learn SAS scripts


• Solid trouble-shooting skills in managing a web-based application


• Solid communication skills for dealing with in or with management and team members


• Experience with ClickOnce deployment software a plus


• Experience managing Middleware systems such as Websphere, Tomcat a plus


• Experience with AIX 5.3 and higher* a plus
