Description

Summary:

This position is responsible for formulating and defining ABAP enhancements in support of the SAP System; devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.

Accountabilities:

The major functions of this job are:

1. Develops programming standards, including new and modified program design.
2. Performs prototyping and testing.
3. Ensure Application documentation is correct and complete.
4. Acquires and disseminates technical expertise.
5. Help desk response.
6. Assists R/3 Administrators in the application of Legal Change Packages and Hot Packs.
7. Provides Performance tuning assistance to the IS infrastructure group.
8. Leads design code reviews and the technical aspects of the upgrade support for SAP Releases.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Finance, MIS or related field and 8 years of relevant work experience or equivalent training, education and/or experience.
2. Possesses and uses expert level skills in the following areas; Enterprise Resource Management Systems, particularly SAP, Java, ABAP/4, C, SAPScript, Report Writer, and EDI.
3. Proven technical and leadership skills.
4. Ability to convey technical ideas in clear manner to non-technical users.
