RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Has accountability to executive sponsors for schedule, budget, quality delivery and appropriate risk escalation for all projects within assigned program.
  • Facilitates high-level sessions for project and overall program planning to ensure accurate estimates, budget and schedules.
  • Support Account Management team by providing enterprise responses to Request for Proposal (RFP) opportunities and participate in contract negotiations.
  • Acts as the communication conduit to executive team through the Initiatives and Investment Committee forums.
  • Accurately forecasts revenue and costs for assigned program, manages financial budget to actual spend and reports status timely to management.
  • Actively manages project manager resources, including work effort allocations, performance expectations, provides coaching and support, assists in problem solving, ensures accurate and effective utilization of resource time, performance appraisals, hiring and firing and promotion reviews.
  • Reviews and approves project artifacts and overall plan to ensure project methodologies and best practices are followed throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • Contributes to PMO (Project Management Office) standards, best practice methodologies and tool development.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of our company products and capabilities.
  • Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
 Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, management or an IT-related discipline and at least 2-4 years of experience managing projects from inception to completion or equivalent experience
  • Subject matter expertise in project methodologies and standards
  • 1-2 years experience with leadership management
  • Highly proficient project management skills
  • Broad knowledge of the field with strong leadership skills.
  • Extensive experience in various SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.)
  • Previous experience with project methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
