Financial Analyst Co-Op - Rochester

Job description
THIS IS AN INTERNSHIP AND ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE REGISTERED FULL TIME STUDENTS TO APPLY. Our entry level analyst will provide structure, consolidation, and analysis of financial data. He/she will develop budgets, forecasts and other financial reports for specific organizations, i.e., departments, regions, sites, and units, as well as creating variance analyses identifying problems and performance exposures to financial operating plans and causes. Candidates should be able to apply basic financial concepts, have strong communication and negotiation skills, and have the ability to work with spreadsheets. Preference in candidates in their senior year of study. Assignments are 6-months long beginning in May 2012, ending January 2013 or beginning in December 2012, ending June 2013 in Rochester, MN.

Required

• High School Diploma/GED
• English: Fluent

Preferred

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Basic knowledge in applying business and financial concepts
• Basic knowledge in analyzing business organization and processes
• Basic knowledge in performing forecasting and business management
