1: 5+ years tax and accounting experience

3: Multistate experience
4: Tax provision experience
5: Bachelors degree or higher
We are looking for an outstanding Tax Accountant to perform complex tax accounting activities supporting the monthly, quarterly, and year-end tax provision processes.
DESIRED (not required) SKILLS:

:: CPA a plus
:: Big 4 public accounting experience a plus
:: MBT (Master of Business Taxation) a plus
:: Financial institution experience a plus
:: Strong Microsoft Access &Excel experience a plus
:: Essbase experience a plus
Duties and Responsibilities

== Prepare monthly tax provision workpapers
== Prepare quarterly review of tax calculations
== Assist with monthly tax system maintenance
== Research tax accounting issues
== Assist with tax reporting system design changes
== Provide assistance in the preparation and review of the year end external tax audit workpapers
== Work with the external auditors to satisfy the consolidated and separate company financial statement tax reporting requirements
== Interact with other functional groups within the tax department and with the business units to collect and process accounting and income tax information
== Maintain documentation supporting SOX and internal audits
== Provide functional advice to less experienced staff
