Senior Informatica Developer at Minneapolis

Responsibilities: Kforce is seeking a Senior Informatica Developer in the Minneapolis, Minnesota (MN) area for one of our premier clients.

Job Description:

The Data Management team supports and maintains the core data repositories. These are critical skills for supporting the core repositories. Informatica is the standard for ETL processing within the environments. Both environments are UNIX based with very large relational database systems, requiring the need for the additional skills in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives


• Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs


• Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors


• Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing


• Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts


• Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process

 RequirementsQualifications:

• 10+ years application development and implementation experience.

• Informatica PowerCenter


• ETL architecture/design and development experience


• Relational Database design and development


• Production support experience with Relational Databases


• Data warehouse architecture and design


• Unix - General Environment and shell scripting


• Batch systems and processing


• File transfer years


• Database Development Experience in two of the three (DB2, Oracle, UDB)


• Financial Services Industry Knowledge


• Informatica Tool Suite Experience and Administration


• Experience working with off shore vendors and establishing off shore teams and processes


• Very Large Relational Database (VLRDB) design and development (DB2, Oracle, UDB)


• Production support experience with Very Large Relational Databases (VLRDB)


• Large scale performance tuning on Very Large Relational Databases (VLRDB)
