Develop and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
Responsibilities
- Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
- Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules and discount rates
- Directs staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program
- Assigns sales territory to sales representatives
- Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist vendors in promoting sales
- Delivers sales presentations to key customers in coordination with sales representatives
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition
Qualifications- Minimum four years experience in sales with one year plus in supervisory experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills required
- Interpersonal skill required
- Must have the ability to resolve customer issues in a timely, organized and cost efficient manner
- Demonstrated knowledge of computers essential
- Current drives license required
- Ability to manage overnight travel and some weekend work
- Must be a self-starter
