This position is located at our Shakopee, MN and reports to the Manager of Product Firmware Engineering. The Product Firmware Engineering department has an opening for a highly motivated embedded firmware engineer. The position provides a candidate with full development life-cycle experience, from gathering requirements; code development; bench testing; and maintenance of new features and bug fixes. Product Firmware Engineering works with other internal teams in the development of future products. Recent PhD graduates highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include:Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software.Troubleshoots code for firmware (IC embedded code) applications.Work often involves analog and digital hardware and software operating systems.Position bring exposure to hardware designs. Typically programs in high level languages (e.g., C, C++) and occasional use of assembly language.Directs the activities related to the analysis, design, programming, debugging, troubleshooting, and modification of software for firmware (IC embedded code) applications.Oversees programming activities involving analog and digital hardware and software operating systems.
