Diamond Wholesaler - FMO Distribution - Minneapolis, MN

Job Purpose/Role
The Diamond Wholesaler is an external wholesaling position working directly with Club Qualifying Producers for FMO Distribution. The primary objective is to maintain and grow an gents club status with Allianz as determined by issued premium from the sale of annuities. The lead focus will be our Platinum and low level Diamond producers. This will be done through strong segmentation and working closely with our Preferred Distribution Partners. This role requires tremendous initiative to segment, protect and grow these critical relationships with our club qualifiers. A high level of business acumen, judgment, critical thinking and decision making skills are required as this person will strategically identify and plan sales campaigns and travel to meet these top producers, face to face, in their environment. Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills, industry knowledge, and be an expert in product knowledge and sales application that will serve to increase sales in Allianz Fixed Indexed Annuities. A high level of communication and partnership are required with the Sr Sales Rep, Sr Diamond Wholesaler, Sales Director, Sales Vice President and District Director to drive regional sales goals.


Key Responsibilities
70% Sales:
Own, maintain and grow club level relationships though face to face appointments
Meet and exceed sales and retention modeling benchmarks
Maintain required level of appointment activities with targeted producers
Strategize, plan and participate in targeted marketing campaigns
Conduct client appreciation and targeted producer events in your region

20% Time, Territory, and Reporting Management:
Attend 46 appointments per day with 2 evening activities per week
Update activity reporting (goldmine, regional, etc.) weekly
Prepare business plans on a producer and organization level
Review plans/trends with District Director on regular basis
Utilize advanced data collection methods to track producer trends/feedback, etc.
Meet and exceed key performance and activity benchmarks
Communicate/report daily with District Director

10% Development:
Establish self as product and positioning expert (both Allianz and our competition)
Increase awareness of Allianz products and value propositions with agents and marketers in your region
Participate in certification process for Advanced Planning topics and presentations
Participate in weekly HOPs and other home office development sessions

Job Requirements

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
FINRA Series 6 and 63 or 7 and MN Life and Health required or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
Extensive travel required: 4-5 days a week, 3 weeks per month
4-5 years of experience in financial services required
Understanding of product distribution structure along with operational and relationship management of distribution required
