Nurseline RN Case Manager

This telephonic registered nurse position requires an integrated approach to servicing members. Key expectations are to focus on coordinating available resources for members when they call in to utilize services. It requires flexibility and ability to welcome, support, and excel in a fast paced environment that changes often to meet and exceed customer and member expectations.

No weekends. No holidays. This position is based in our Bloomington, MN, office*. Paid training begins early August 2013 Hours: Monday Friday 1:30pm 10pm

Takes in-bound calls and places out-bound calls as dictated by consumer and business needs

Assesses and triages immediate health concerns

Identifies problems or gaps in care offering opportunity for intervention

Provides health education and coaches consumers on treatment alternatives to assist them in best decision making

Supports consumers in selection of best physician and facility to maximize access, quality, and to manage heath care cost

Coordinates services and referrals to health programs

Prepares individuals for physician visits

Manages utilization through education

Assists members in sorting through their benefits and making choices

Special projects, initiatives, and other job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Current, unrestricted RN licensure
3+ years of Clinical RN experience, resulting in excellent clinical skills and judgment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MSOffice, with the ability to navigate a Windows environment
Able to assess and identify needs
Able to influence, motivate, and move members along the continuum of change
Expert conflict management skills
Ability to commute daily to the Bloomington, MN, office
Ability to work M-F, 1:30-10pm
