Wells Fargo Audit Services (i.e. Wells Fargos internal audit department) has an opening for an Audit Manager. The candidate will have the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple lines of business, business processes and technologies within Wells Fargo, with specific focus on Community Banking and TOG Operations. The Audit Manager will participate in dynamic planning and coverage strategy analysis, will function primarily in a Supervisor role overseeing multiple audit engagements (audits, projects, business monitoring, etc.) including the management of assigned staff and budgets, and will be a primary driver of establishing and maintaining proactive and influential business partner relationships across Community Banking and Operations. We are looking for a team member with significant audit, regulatory compliance, and/or risk management experience with the proven ability to critically assess risks inherent in the various lines of business, identify internal control activities, and properly assess the adequacy and effectiveness of those controls.Duties include: Participating in strategic analysis and annual/dynamic audit planning activities. Day-to-day supervision of multiple audit engagements and initiatives, including: control testing reviews; project audits; business monitoring; and other divisional / team specific initiatives. Ensure audit work is documented in accordance with industry / WFAS standards and fully supports conclusions and overall opinion through 1st / 2nd level reviews. Presenting business partners with value-added recommendations to improve their systems of internal control, generating report-ready draft audit reports, and demonstrating appropriate influence and credible challenge when necessary. Maintaining the audit schedule, including resource deployment and management across scheduled activities. Managing and developing audit team members assigned to engagement projects under your supervision, including engagement performance feedback designed to further strengthen and develop skill sets. Providing formal/informal mentoring and other feedback to supplement performance feedback to further position audit staff for growth and advancement.Job Requirements
* Basic Qualifications:8+ years audit experience, and 2+ years management experience.
