Customer Service/Dispatch Representative at Sauk Rapids

Job Description

Contact Shippers/Receivers to schedule pick/delivery times

Dispatch and communicate with drivers for complete delivery of freight

  • Data Entry
  • Trace shipments, provide bills of lading & proofs of delivery, etc., as requested by customers and or sales persons
  • Interact with managers, dispatch team or sales persons to report all tracking 
  • Employees are expected, and must be able to perform all such duties and tasks

Job Requirements

  • Strong oral & written communication skills
  • Must be self-directed & detail oriented in a fast-paced environment
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Prior transportation/customer service experience desired but not necessary
  • Must be able to and comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
  • Must be able to interact well with others
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting, in a fast paced environment
  • Must be mentally and emotionally capable of handling a high stress environment
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED), or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
  • Responds well to questions.
  • Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as operations/procedure manuals along with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to a criminal history background check
