REFRIGERATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN at Saint Paul

Brabazon Pump, Compressor & Vacuum, the Midwests largest independent distributor of pumps, air compressors and vacuum equipment, is seeking a self-motivated and customer focused Refrigeration Service Technician in the St. Paul, MN metro area. This role can be based out of the St. Paul, MN office or within a one hour radius in a home office.

Job Responsibilities:

The Service Technician will install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and provide preventative maintenance on most makes/models of compressors and related equipment including Sullair, Airtek, Joy, Zeks, Ingersoll-Rand, Atlas-Copco, Kaeser, Quincy, Gardner Denver, CompAir, Hankison, Pneumatech, Conservair and more. In addition to taking care of customers service and maintenance needs, the person is required to complete paperwork and to be on call to occasionally perform service after hours one week per month. Candidates are required to have a valid drivers license and good driving record. A company vehicle, gas card, specialized tools and safety equipment will be provided. 90% of your time is in the field providing service within an hour to two hour radius; there is very little overnight travel. Factory and in-house training will be provided to develop and maintain proficiency. Compensation is $15 to $25 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications:

Three or more years of experience in two or more of the following:

Refrigeration

Maintenance Technician

Electronics

• A positive attitude with a high focus on helping customers
• Ability to maintain a clean appearance and professional demeanor while on the job.
• Independent self-starter with reliable attendance
• Ability to provide own tools (job specific tooling are provided)
• Excellent driving record and valid drivers license
• Entry level positions are also available Only a good mechanical aptitude and initiative is required.
