Position Title: High Purity Sales Representative Direct Channel

Location: Central Region

Key Responsibilities:

The Sales Representative - High Purity will primarily be responsible for selling service deionization (SDI), high purity water equipment and solutions for the Direct Channel business within the Pretreatment Solutions Group. Primary target markets include, but are not limited to, laboratories (commercial, manufacturing quality labs, universities), chemical blenders, hospitals and light and heavy manufacturing facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understands and adheres to Nalco safety guidelines including focusing on and consistently practicing safety as a top priority for all projects completed. Can lead a tailgate talk - demonstrates a lead by example process in safety compliance.
- Responsible for meeting sales objectives by selling SDI, water purification equipment including reverse osmosis systems, water softeners, UV systems, Filters and water treatment system Services directly to customers in the assigned territory.
- Provide necessary communication and reports such as sale pyramids, expense reports, etc. to sales management as required

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

- High school diploma or its equivalent
- 3-5 years of selling high purity water purification equipment such as service deionization, water softeners, reverse osmosis technology, UV systems, filters and on site services
- Basic computer knowledge and be proficient in computer applications, i.e. internet, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good driving record
- Proficient in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of water systems

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree
- Excellent customer service and sales attitude
- Trade licenses or trade school certifications are a plus
- Ability to use both written and verbal means to clearly communicate with customers and other Nalco personnel
