Position Overview

Responsibilities Include:
*Leading a team of highly qualified professionals including Technical Account Managers and Application Engineers to exceed required sales objectives.
*Direct all sales relationship management, business development and sales activities from inception to contract closure.
*Drive revenue growth across all product lines and for all identified key accounts.
*Develop and implement annual strategic and tactical sales plans for key account portfolio in conjunction with area sales manager, finance and other stakeholders.
*Adhere to sales processes and policies to maximize sales effectiveness.
*Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports as required.
*Share industry, deal, and sales best-practice knowledge with colleagues, sales management, technical sales, and applications engineers.
*Provide feedback and guidance on product features and functions to drive innovative new functionality.
*Position will report to the Central Area Sales Manager with ideal candidate located in Minneapolis, MN or Chicago, IL.

Job Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
*BS degree (or equivalent) is required.
*Must have a minimum of 8 years as a recognized software sales leader.
*Must be technically proficient with a successful background in EDA software sales (Required)
*Must have a clear understanding of competitive solutions within EDA Industry and business challenges of account (Required).
*Excellent leadership, communication, and team building skills are imperative. Must have a high motivation to work with leading edge customers in a technically challenging environment.
*Proven track record of sales growth, new technology penetration and new business development are required.
*Must be creative, persistent, and possess problem solving skills.
*Overall knowledge of MN customer base, Medical device industry, engineering firms and other technology service organizations is invaluable.
