Join us and start doing your lifes best work.The Data Coordinator is responsible for executing data management processes and reviewing data management deliverables before release to internal and external clients. This individual takes regular direction from data managers to support individual studies. The Data Coordinator maintains an 85% utilization rate. This position reports to the Manager, Late Phase Data Management.Primary Responsibilities:Understands project specifications and compiles regular progress reports to apprise Data Managers of database/data status. Provides financial support for data management tasks on projects by tracking time on study activities. Assists in late phase study data management, including review of [e]CRFs and completion guidelines, assisting validation during database build, performing user acceptance testing (UAT), testing edit checks.Performs or reviews data entry, conducts query and DCF management, reviews data listings , tracks and indexes CRFs, performs AE/SAE reconciliation, and supports data reviews. Defers any uncommon tasks to a Data Manager.Pro-actively raise issues to internal team for resolution. Works to maintain project timelines and avoid re-work. Strives for efficiency and standardization in performing late phase data management activities.Partners with global Optum study team to solve issues. Liaises with data managers and database programmers. Performs work in accordance with internal SOPs and working practices, industry guidelines, GCP, 21 CFR part 11, GDMP, and other regulations. Completes comprehensive documentation for all data management activities. Other duties as requiredPositions in this function are responsible for processing, coordinating, cleaning, coding and checking the validity and accuracy of incoming and published data from the Clinical Monitoring function. Develops programs and databases to support the management and processing of data. Designs clinical data forms to support the administrative process.Extensive work experience, possibly in multiple functions. Work does not usually require established procedures.Works independently.Mentors others.Acts as a resource for others.Coordinates others activities.
