Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst at Saint Paul

This position is located at our corporate headquarters in historic downtown St. Paul. Green Tree offers a generous transportation subsidy toward either a parking contract or a Metropass. Our compensation includes a base salary plus an annual discretionary bonus program. OBJECTIVESOFPOSITION

The purpose of this position is to develop and execute all phases of quality assurance,
including preparation of the test environment, manual and automated testing.
This position will certify that deliverables have met all quality requirements.

MAJORACCOUNTABILITIES

• Clarify project requirements as needed for system testing
• Create and maintain system, integration and regression test plans
• Execute both automated and manual system and regression tests
• Coordinate and participate in the execution of integration test plans
• Verify that project documentation is completed
• Verify that required project reviews have been completed
• Perform analysis of application changes and creates test cases and test strategies to ensure the quality of those changes
• Perform analysis of test coverage and outcomes for each application release and advises project managers of estimated risk

SELECTIONCRITERIA

• B.S. in Computer Science or related area (foreign equivalent acceptable) and five years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in information technology field
• Employer will accept a Masters Degree Computer Science or related field and two years of relevant experience in lieu of the primary requirement
• Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience
• Applicant must have background knowledge and/or proficiency in: Creating manual and automated test scripts
• Testing client-server and web applications
• Writing and executing SQL
• Setting up test environments
• Quality Center and Quick Test Professional software testing tools
• Defect management tools
• Writing effective business requirements
• Ability to interact effectively with developers
