Estimator Job

Seeking a Business Development Representative/Estimator for the horizontal directional drilling division of a national leader in large diameter piping in the Minnesota Area. This position is a combination of two positions, a person that can locate new business opportunities [sales person] and Estimator, someone that is detail-oriented that can put together bids for projects.

Responsibilities for the Estimator

• Responsible for marketing integrated directional drilling services
• Identify potential clients and develop new business relationships
• Locate and track profitable pipe opportunities
• Estimate assigned projects
• Prepare bids and proposals

Requirements for the Estimator

• 3+ yrs of estimating experience
• 2 to 5 yrs of directional drilling business development experience
• Technical knowledge of directional drilling operations
• Must have knowledge of HCSS, Heavy Job and Heavy Bid programs
• Requires up to 50% travel
