RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Responsible for payroll systems management and updates
• Maintain general ledger by reconciling accounts for all payroll and benefits activity
• Prepare bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll compliance and tax reporting
• Review and record payroll/benefits invoices for appropriate coding and approvals
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of month end close process for all payroll and benefits accounts
• Prepare event labor reviews and allocations from payroll records
• Represent finance for annual budget / forecasting initiatives for payroll and benefits projections
• Work with Risk Manager to provide all wage projections and audit
• Coordinate with Risk Manager for workers’ compensation claims management and reporting
• Provide other support and reporting to payroll/finance department as needed / assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. FORMAL EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION
• Bachelor’s Degree – Accounting
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Payroll experience required
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to work independently and responsibly within a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
WORK CONDITIONS
• Work is primarily sedentary in nature. Some physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
