Continuous Improvement Internal Consultant – Business ProcessesJob Description:
General Mills is seeking a Continuous Improvement Internal Consultant. This CI Consultant will support business processes and provide focused leadership for the CI journey within Finance, Global Business Solutions, Human resources, Legal, External Relations, US Retail Organization and Consumer Insights. The goal of this position is to leverage the CI methodologies across these organizations and be a trusted business partner as they navigate their CI journey. By leveraging CI methodologies we will enable differentiated business results within our peer set.MAIN

RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will:

• Demonstrates high levels of visibility by providing guidance to senior leadership, steering teams and sponsors in order to expedite the CI process for accelerated business results
• Influence leadership teams in the implementation of strategy development and deployment
• This role will also provide guidance to CI Managers in the development of master plans
• Coach senior leadership teams on the CI journey and provide calibration process for organization master plans
• Lead the Continuous Improvement efforts across Information & Go to Market value streams in order to maximize the effectiveness of resources, processes, and technology to drive sustainable results across the organization
• Develop/mentor department CI Managers through on-boarding, regular meetings, coaching, and providing insights on strengths and development opportunities
• Act as a subject matter expert for action teams, material development and standardization Demonstrate the ability to lead change by initiating, executing and sustaining effective change within an organization
• Identify and implement ways to simplify and standardize the CI process across the organization
• Lead or facilitate training for methodology development
• Work with external resources to improve current CI processes
• Share current CI best practices across the entire enterprise
• Lead development of CI Frameworks to meet business needs

Job Requirements

Continuous Improvement Internal Consultant – Business ProcessesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree
• 2 years related experience
• 6 years preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to influence leadership at all levels of the organization
• In-depth mastery of CI processes and methodology
• Working knowledge of value streams
