Job Purpose:The QA Engineer will ensure that high quality software and hardware is released, while achieving established committed delivery dates for ISS products. This person will be a primary lead responsible for testing, monitoring and advising on performance, during product development and release cycles for the ANPR (Plate Recognition) product line. This position also entails collaborating closely with other functional departments within engineering to rapidly resolve complex issues during development and product releases. Successful candidate must possess excellent leadership, communication, analytical and problem solving skills. Essential Job Functions:Create and execute regression tests to determine if product functionality meets defined specifications Develop both manual and automated test cases to help further QA processesTake ownership of test plans in SmartBear/QA Complete repositoryBe the leader in researching, tracking, and closing the loop on identified software/hardware issues to meet company goals and objectivesAnalyze, reproduce, and isolate issues to diagnose root cause and work closely with other engineering teams to resolve escalated issuesMaintain and administer QA processes to ensure quality standards are accurate and accessible within the organization Go Beyond. www.superiorjobs.com. Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or equivalent with 5 years QA or test experienceMinimum of 1 year working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Project and OutlookMinimum of 2 years experience on multiple platforms, both client and server (Windows, and Linux) Preferred Skills / Qualifications:Knowledge and experience of C/C++, Visual Basic, MFC, Java and Python scriptingKnowledge of machine vision, radar, ANPR technologies and ITS industryExperience maintaining issue tracking system, IssueNet or Elsinore Technology productsExperience maintaining test plan repository, QA Complete or Smart Bear productsExperience with ISO9001 or other quality systemsKnowledge of image sensors, touch screens, cameras, lenses, USB, and networking is a plusHighly effective at managing priorities, tasks, schedules and take pride in supporting products with the highest level of professionalismStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills that results in solving complex technical issuesExcellent oral and written communication skillsProficient in multitasking, organizational and time management skills Physical Demands:Requirement to work comfortably in a typical office.
