ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY In this position, you will be responsible for the overall management and execution of projects from conception to completion. You will take the initiative to improve Univitas methodologies, processes, and productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply company project methodology and enforce project standards, taking initiatives to improve methodologies, processes, and productivity.
• Record key project related artifacts including: Project Charter, Scope/Statement of Work, requirements, milestone signoffs, risks & issues log, change requests, lessons learned, on-going support process, communications, and other required documents as necessary.
• Create and execute: project plan, schedule, budget, resource acquisition and allocation, communication plan, risk mitigation, change control, and status reporting.
• Accurately forecast revenue and cost for assigned project, and manage financial budget to actual spend and report status to management.
• Facilitate project meetings effectively, informing the project team of milestone activity and project change.
• Escalate appropriate risks and issues including team conflict and communication problems.
• Consult with senior peers on projects to learn through experience and mentor other project managers with less project experience.
• Manage more complex and larger budget projects with minimal supervision and wide latitude for independent judgment.
• Seek out emerging industry best practices and recommend their implementation where appropriate.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years project management work experience
• Expert in MS Office Suite in addition to MS Visio and MS Project
• Broad knowledge of the field with strong leadership skills
• Extensive experience in various SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.)
• Previous experience with project methodologies and best practices
• Project management experience in healthcare industry preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Experience with the concepts of the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) preferred
• AHIP (Americas Health Insurance Plans) Designations (i.e., LTCP - passed the LTC I, II, III, and IV exams; HIPAA Associate, HIPAA professional, etc.) preferred
