- Provides leadership, coaching, monitoring and support to direct reports
- Provides positive and constructive feedback to employees while placing emphasis on continuous improvements and ownership on the part of the employees
- Adheres to Ceridian process, coaches direct reports on these processes and ensures processes are followed
- Holds frequent development discussions; is aware of each direct reports career goals
- Constructs compelling development plans and executes them; pushes direct reports to take developmental moves
- Helps team and individuals build competence and confidence
- Guides, encourages, supports and instructs employees
- Plans, organizes, supervises and develops staff including but not limited to identifying needs and trends of the department and ensuring client/business expectations are being met

- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers
- Participate in bi-weekly sponsorship meetings for a portfolio of projects providing support in the mitigation of risks and issues.
- Quickly and accurately identifies customer expectations, and sets project goals with customer needs in mind
- Acts as an ambassador for the Implementation business unit within Ceridian, building relationships and processes that streamline and continuously improve the delivery of integrated solutions.
- Works effectively across business units with Customer Care Leaders to meet our business goals
- Ensures achievement of service level and customer satisfaction goals/objectives and metrics as agreed to within the Implementation organization.
- Involved in resolution of difficult client escalation issues.
- Sets Performance Management objectives and expectations
- Sets high standards and consistently pushes to achieve quality results
- Observes and tracks performance through monitoring activity based costing data
- Provides performance feedback to employees
- Partners with HR on performance management process and manages performance up to and including termination

- Coordinates plans and participates in company-wide events such as year-end kick off and new-hire training.
- Ensures staff is current regarding Ceridian University certifications, IT technology, product upgrades and updates.
- Identifies and participates in training sessions for career development
- Participates in leadership development opportunities
- Sets vital factor goals and motivates team to reach them

- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive supervisory/management experience in a service delivery industry. Prefer additional work experience in the area of payroll/tax/time & attendance/human resources/benefits/accounting/computer applications/management information systems.
- Minimum 3 years client facing experience with the c-level roles in organizations with complex industries. Experience with multiple industries preferred.
