Nova House, an Intensive Residential Treatment
Services (IRTS) facility serving adults with mental
health issues and dual diagnosis is seeking a
qualified Mental Health Practitioner. The position
is full-time, 32 hrs/wk, day/afternoon hours with a
willingness to work an awake overnight shift if
needed. Position includes every-other weekend
and holidays.

Qualifications: Must be qualified as a Mental
Health Practitioner and meet one of the following
criteria:

A. Hold a bachelors degree in one of the behav-
ioral sciences or related fields from an accredited
college/university, 2,000 hours of supervised ex-
perience in the delivery of services to persons
with mental illness;

B. Have at least 6,000 hours of supervised ex-
perience in the delivery of services to persons
with mental illness;

C. Masters or other graduate degree in one of
the behavioral sciences or related fields from an
accredited college/university and has less than
4,000 hours post-masters experience in the treat-
ment of mental illness.

Strong written and verbal communication as well
as excellent documentation skills required. Expe-
rience working in a residential setting, group fa-
cilitation, and treatment planning and
implementation is desired. Successful candidate
will be motivated to work independently as well
as in a team environment.
