BASIC PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The purpose of the "Solutions Architect" requires the knowledge and skills in healthcare imaging informatics that are both broad and deep. To be effective the Solutions Architect, the employee must have experience on multiple hardware and software environments and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous systems environments. The Solutions Architect is expected to be a senior technical guru who has led multiple projects through the Software development process or Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and has usually performed in a variety of different roles in that life cycle. The person needs an ability to share and communicate ideas verbally, both orally and in writing, to executive staff, business sponsors, and technical resources in clear concise language that is the parlance of each group.

The Solutions Architect is responsible for the development of the overall vision that underlies the projected solution and conveys that vision through execution into the solution. The Solutions Architect becomes involved with a project in the sales process and is involved in the Functional analysis (FA) of developing the initial requirements.
They should have hands-on experience in multiple industries and across several disciplines. They can master a variety of hardware platforms including mainframes, distributed platforms, desktops, and mobile devices. Akin to that they should also possess skill and understanding of a variety of Operating Systems. A broad and deep understanding of Databases is also required.

• Become a technical and deployment champion on our API capabilities for all products and act as a liaison between Vital Images and other companies on technical integration points.
• Work with business development on evaluations of technical pieces of third party vendors.
• Work with existing partner liaisons to be a source of technical information.
• Create a training program to educate sales and sales operations staff on current and new deployment
• Deliver sales messaging for educational and sales purposes.
• Coordinate ongoing communications with cross functional groups within the business to convey the thoughts of our internal and external customers for new and existing products.
• Ability to understand and articulate customer business requirements and develop corresponding solution design.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audience.
• Strong presentation skill and ability to clearly demonstrate software solutions across a range of technical and business users up to board level management.
• Work as a Technical Architect to define system requirements and application design
• Configuring applications for prototyping.
• Assist Sales Account Manager in the generation of high quality responses to RFPs.
• Serve as a team member in development of the customer-driven solution, contributing to crucial technical decisions as the nature of a client project evolves.
• Work to improve communication transfer between customer facing technical teams on all deals for optimization of project management, deployment and ongoing support.
• Point of contact for internal teams on customer topology and environmental knowledge.

BASIC PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The Application Support Engineer (ASE) position will be responsible for providing both technical and application support for all of Vital Images software and hardware platforms. This position supports the use of our product by our customers. This person works closely with our Technical Support Engineers (TSE).
