Position Summary:
Provides Materials Support to the Manufacturing Area. Fills material requirements for production orders from Pick Tickets or requests from workers. Expedites shortages and escalates material problems to supervision.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Check in freight
Gather parts into kits, deliver completed kits to the proper manufacturing area by forklift
Track shortage items and expedite shortage items to the production area
Stock supplies to shelves
Willing to cross train through
Workload will be tracked via daily schedules and assignments requiring responsibility and accountability for quality anAbility to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced, noisy environment while wearing all required PPE (including; eye, hearing, hand, knee, foot, etc.)
Practice good housekeeping

Work Environment:
Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 70 lbs, traveling up and down stairs on a constant basis, sitting, squatting and bending in various awkward positions for certain lengths of time - including working overhead, traveling in and out of work areas, walking and being on your feet for a majority of the work day. Exposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors on a daily basis. Pushing and pulling material carts. Physical exertion is required.

Job Requirements

Required and Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Three months experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Ability to utilize wheel cart, manual pallet jack and rolling step ladder.
Detailed and organized person.
Computer skills preferred.
Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced, noisy environment while wearing all required PPE (including; eye, hearing, hand, knee, foot, etc.).
Possess a positive work attitude, willingness to learn all departmental job functions, and adhere to safety and quality requirements.
