Job Requirements

We have a critical need to get this role filled as soon as possible. This remains to be, at minimal, a 3 month contract-to-hire opportunity. Initially the role will focus on the below and ideally would then shift into more of a project coordinator / project manager opportunity

Resource Manager

Provides a structured control point for approval and authorization of resource allocation to program and projects.

Manages and matches resource supply with project demand.

Gains approval for resource requests to fulfill program and project requirements

Keeps resource skill inventories current and utilizes them for ensuring best resourcing matches to project

opportunities.

Works to ensure full resource utilization of employee and 3rd-party resources across the project portfolio.

Skills Required

General understanding of the end-to-end SDLC activities of a typical IT project

Understanding of the various components of project data original estimate, forecast, estimate to complete (ETC), estimate at completion (EAC), actuals, allocations, etc.

Ability to assess incoming project demand against available pool of resources and their talent (skills)

Demonstrated experience in matching demand to skill set and allocating resources to work across a program of projects

Experience in assessing ongoing utilization of resources and making recommendations for change to become more efficient with minimal bench time

Ability to analyze large amounts of data, identify themes (gaps/risks) and present in digestible formats to help leadership make actionable decisions

Able to overcome barriers and be resourceful in finding and collaborating with the right parties

Demonstrated relationship management across various levels of leadership
