Job Description
Cardiocom, the industry leading telehealth subsidiary of Medtronic has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Software Quality Assurance Lead to work on cutting-edge enterprise software products. This position would be responsible for working with a team of Software Test Associates to coordinate all QA activities and tasks across a number of software projects. This includes creating and overseeing test plan and test case creation, automation testing, regression testing and test report generation. We are looking for motivated, top performers with excellent communication skills to work in a small-team agile environment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate as lead resource for all Software QA
- Creation and maintenance of Test Plans and Test Cases for a number of software projects
- Perform testing of software and hardware systems using white/black box, unit, performance, regression and automation testing
- Work closely with Project Management and Software Development to fully understand current systems architecture and SDLC in order to develop, execute and document test plans
- Use current ALM system to document all testing processes, outcomes, test cases/plans, bugs, and results
- Mentor and lead other testers to ensure best practices and industry standards are followed to ensure the highest quality products are consistently released
- Provide accurate task estimations and ensure all testing is completed on schedule
Job Requirements
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline required
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years experience creating, maintaining, executing, documenting test cases/test plans
- 3+ years experience testing web application systems
- 3+ years experience utilizing automation test tools
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience testing enterprise-level web applications
- Experience with automated and manual testing
- Knowledge of Microsoft platforms including various Windows OS platforms and .NET Framework
- Expert knowledge of software QA processes and strategies
- Ability to multi-task several projects at any time
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Seapine ALM a plus
