POSITION DESCRIPTION

Manages the materials planning function for all Minnesota Rubber & Plastics locations. 
Collaborates with senior management throughout the organization to provide guidance in strategic planning as it relates to the procurement of all production materials in support of corporate-wide operational excellence requirements.
Establishes policies and procedures required to manage corporate-wide materials planning.
Supervises plant Planners / Buyers.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors or Masters Degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years materials management experience, supporting both domestic and international locations.
Broad knowledge of manufacturing, production, and inventory control functions. 
Experienced in implementing MRP within a multi-location international manufacturing environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to perform and produce results in multifunctional teams in a centralized corporate materials based environment.
APICS certification preferred.
Contract / complex manufacturing experience preferred.
