Regional Sales Representative

Smart Data Solutions Inc, a 14 year old MN based company is looking for a MN-based, experienced sales person to handle the Eastern Region. The right candidate should be an organized self-starter, a quick-learner and have the ability to communicate at an executive level. Technical understanding and knowledge of the healthcare environment is mandatory.

Smart Data Solutions works with healthcare insurers and payers to provide operational streamlining, cost-savings, and efficiency. We engage our prospective clients at an executive level to understand their operational goals and issues so that we can provide pointed solutions with proven ROIs. Our products/services include clearing house services, paper processing, data editing, data collection and reconciliation.

The right candidate will engage the top 70 clients in the Eastern region at all levels within their organization. The candidate will find, contact, track, and engage the Operations People, Claims People, Technical People, Financial People, Implementation People, Mailroom people, EDI People and Project Management People to uncover needs, upcoming projects, and options for cost savings. The candidate will keep the Smart Data data-base current with correct contact information. The ability to communicate at all mediums (written, verbal, face-to-face) is imperative to success. The goal is for the candidate to have a presence and a foothold in the accounts.

Compensation is based on ability and limited travel is necessary. Sales experience and healthcare knowledge/experience is necessary. Please note that this is a job that requires phone calling. Lots of calling. Calling 40+ prospects per day. A person that can make calls, has an unlimited earning potential.
