Overview
-Manage a team of six to ten employees and a specific group of business application systems.
-Collaborate with the other IT managers in support of strategic project planning and execution.
-Supports senior management in the organizational development, management and setting of direction for Information Technology. Assists senior management by defining and estimating project tasks.
-Oversees the management of large and complex projects involving software systems and applications and ensuring their adherence to budget and schedule.
-Works with assigned Business Lines to formulate systems plans and enhancements to support business objectives.
-Define, estimate, assign, and track tasks of team members. Plan, track and report the team s progress against schedules. Participate in project reviews. Serves on respective planning and user committees to establish project priorities.
-Responsible for staffing and review; also makes recommendations regarding promotions, salary adjustments and/or disciplinary action.
-Performs self-assigned tasks to ensure area productivity and/or efficiency.
-Make presentation at reviews and walk-throughs for User Management and Information Technology Management.
-Adhere to Corporate systems approval matrix and operating policies and procedures.
-Effectively manage the department functions while meeting and adhering to corporate, legal, and regulatory policies, guidelines, and requirements regarding compliance. Work with the Compliance and Legal departments for overall updates, procedure changes or development, and resolution of issues.
Qualifications
-8+ years of progressive broad-based information systems experience, with 3+ years of demonstrated management/supervisory experience in applications development, during which more than one of the following occurred:
1) demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management
2) demonstrated leadership of multidiscipline, high-performance work teams.
-successfully developed and implemented new technology.
3) demonstrated competency in project management and execution of multiple or large projects.
-Gained experience working with customers to develop solutions to complex business problems
-5+ years project management experience; use of IT project management methodologies and tools.
-Working knowledge of specific application product areas and associated interfaces.
-Strong analytical skills.
-Experience with budget management.
