Senior Recruiter at Saint Paul

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual with recruiting experience in Nurse and/or Advanced Practice staffing. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of recruiting experience in a staffing organization.

SUMMARY

On Assignment Healthcare Staffing is a comprehensive provider of nursing, allied, clinical lab and administrative/clerical professional employees. The position of Recruiter is responsible for generating business for On Assignment’s Healthcare Division by recruiting and screening applicants and successfully fulfilling clients’ staffing needs through the placement of qualified Healthcare Associates for job orders in clinics, hospitals, and physician offices in a timely manner.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

 

  • Identify and recruit potential Healthcare Associates through referrals, job fairs, company/client-sponsored events, establishing relationships with local college and technical school placement offices, and developing new recruiting sources.
  • Generate and actively recruit referrals from current and former Healthcare Associates and call all Healthcare Associates not currently on assignment.
  • Perform all necessary Human Resource functions for Healthcare Associates; including verifying references, previous work experience, and all applicable licensure/certification(s)/OSHA requirements, obtaining assignment evaluations for performance reviews, and documenting and administering disciplinary action as necessary.
  • Obtain detailed information from clients with new job orders and place Healthcare Associates on assignments in a timely manner.
  • Build productive relationships with new and existing clients, employees and coworkers.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all applicable state and local government, accrediting agency, and client-specific contractual laws/requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Prior recruiting or staffing experience; staffing experience in healthcare or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; RecruitMax experience preferred.
  • Must be an energetic, detail-oriented, organized, highly motivated and self-directed individual with ability to prioritize and efficiently handle multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting and negotiating skills; including a demonstrated ability to work well and effectively with others.

  ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Familiarity with healthcare delivery systems (hospitals, clinics, physician office’s, managed care organizations, health insurance companies, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
