Firestone Building Products (FSBP) is a leading provider of building envelope systems & solutions in the construction market. We are currently seeking a National Sales Manager, Wall & Wall Cavity to join our dynamic Firestone Metal Products team in Anoka, MN. We are an industry leader in the manufacturing of architectural metal products beginning in 1981 when we began producing the UNA-CLAD™ line of coated steel and aluminum, providing a high quality solution for architectural metal panels. Since then, we have developed into one of the leading architectural metal service providers to the construction industry. As a part of FSBP, we maintain our reputation of delivering the highest quality products.
This position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of fabricated Metal Wall Systems sales strategies and tactics. Manages Regional Sales Managers, Sales Systems Managers and Independent Sales Representatives to the successful achievement of company volume, revenue and profit objectives. Scope of responsibilities includes U.S. and Canada, and effective integration of all activities with FSBP Roofing, International, Specialty, IPAS, BES and COE operations and managers. Key responsibilities include:
- Achieve/exceed company’s budgeted sales volume, revenue and profit objectives by training, motivating and managing sales management team, sales support and commissioned sales representatives.
- Lead the business’ Contractor and Specifier/specification development initiatives.
- Advance understanding of our customers’ and market needs by key internal managers and departments.
- Ensure mutual, cross-functional understanding and support, and enhanced customer satisfaction through effective communications and coordination
- Develop and communicate accurate forecasts of all sales.
- Provide customer, competitor and fact-based market data required, and work effectively with Marketing Department to jointly develop strategies to achieve short- and long-term profit and growth objectives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or similar discipline and a minimum of 10 years sales experience in the glass/glazing, wall cavity or exterior products industry to include sales management experience in the wall panel industry or related architect selling business. Experience managing independent sales representatives preferred. Must have good organizational skills and ability to use Microsoft Office Suites effectively.
