Doherty Staffing Solutions in partnership with our client company in Annandale, MN is seeking a Food Safety Technician.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Revise and maintain HACCP, SSOP, GMP, production procedures, foods safety procedures, maintaining records, learning and training on food nutritional labeling software, verifying nutritional and ingredient declaration on all new and existing products, assisting with developing training for GMP meetings and other duties as assigned.

 

Shift: Regular hours are 7:30am-4pm with extended hours as needed.

Pay: $11.00-$13.00

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

• 2 year degree preferred or at least previous experience with Quality Assurance/Food Science.
• Typing and computer skills with a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. o Mathematical skills to compute nutritional and ingredient information.
• Speak, read and write English fluently.
• Must be willing to work on weekends as needed o Must be highly organized and efficient.
• Must be forward thinking to assist in developing new programs as needed with the changing requirements of FDA/USDA.
• Must work well independently as well as part of a team with good reasoning, communication and organizational skills.
