Account Services Manager - Internal Clients at Minneapolis

PCCA (Professional Compounding Centers of America), leading independent compounding pharmacys complete resource for fine chemicals, devices, equipment, training & support, is looking for an Account Services Manager to join their team in Houston, TX. Relocation assistance is available.

Position Summary

The Account Services Manager will be responsible for managing the relationships between PCCA business units and the marketing teams. They will oversee an account service team and create processes for managing and tracking the workload across multiple clients and areas of focus.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain team within PCCA that will manages marketing relationships with all internal clients
  • Put in place processes and metrics to manage and track work across multiple clients
  • Define the role of account services in an agency, developing the systems, procedures and metrics needed to carry out this function, define staffing requirements, hire staff and manage the account service teams interactions with the creative services teams
  • Create and implement a strategic marketing planning process and integrate its use into all communication-planning activities
  • Develop an understanding of clients business objectives and challenges while working directly with them to develop formal communication programs that support their business objectives through communication programs, i.e. print and other advertising, direct marketing, trade-shows, special events, media relations, websites, social media
  • Serve as the liaison between the clients and the services of the in-house agency, i.e., manage the day-to-day direction of client accounts, meet with clients on as scheduled
  • Communicate with clients about setting engagement objectives and metrics, developing components of engagements, coordinating activities and identifying changes in scope
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure that project work is continually on track, while delivering results to clients, adhering to budgets and schedules and maintaining high quality-standards
  • Develop and maintain subject-matter expertise within clients business sectors
  • Participate in plans and activities to scale the agency, i.e., recruitment, training, mentoring new team members
  • Design, conduct, analyze and report primary and secondary research activities
  • Ensure that department objectives are in line with corporate objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Communications or related field
  • Four years of experience in a marketing, advertising, public relations or similar communication agency managing internal clients
  • Account Executive experience a plus
  • One year of experience leading a team
  • Advanced presentation and writing skills
  • Experience using and working with project traffic software and systems/procedures used by agencies to manage account relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Advanced analytical and processing skills
  • Planning and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proactive and fast learner
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, be detail oriented and well-organized
  • Exposure to graphic design software (i.e., Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Advanced computer skills in all Microsoft Office programs

Certifications/Accreditations:

  • Accreditation in Public Relations, preferred
