Instructional Designer / Training Instructor at Eden Prairie

Job Description

Randstad currently has 4 openings for Intructional Designers for a large healthcare services company with work locations in Eden Praire and Golden Valley. This is a long term contract (W-2) position slated to last approximately 1 year in duration.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour (DOE)

This positions primary responsibility will be for the Training Design and Development function supporting the businesses.

Performs organizational needs analyses for the business and works very closely with key business contacts including operations, legal and compliance to ensure all modules are current and in line with business need, while meeting contractual requirements. Collaborates with all resources to ensure appropriate programs and courses are in place. Translates analyses into workable, engaging, and interactive learning modules for classroom, web, and computer based delivery.

Responsibilities

- Works across multiple employee and leadership levels to ascertain training needs and ensure those needs are met
- Designs, develops, and deploys New Hire, Systems, and Process courses and programs
- Works hand in hand with Quality Assurance and Compliance / Legal Teams to identify ongoing training issues / opportunities within OPI
- Leverages available technology and seeks out new technology to improve training processes
- Uses continuous process improvement methodologies to improve business efficiencies within the design and development space of training function
- Reviews training metrics and evaluation data to identify opportunities for improvement and to ensure training solutions are having the desired outcomes
- Develops and maintains a collaborative work environment with peers and leadership teams
- Creates automated processes to reduce expense and expand training footprint across OPI
- Serves as a catalyst for change - actively involved in process and organizational change

Requirements / Qualifications

(Minimum work experience, educational background, professional licenses, certifications and skills required to perform the job):

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent / related experience
- 5+ Years experience designing instructor-led training in a corporate environment
- 5+ Years experience designing user guides, participant / facilitator guides, and job aids
- 3+ Years experience using WebEx or comparable web delivery medium
- 3+ Years experience designing computer-based training using Articulate, Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, or Lectora
- Proven track record of utilizing adult learning principles to design effective, engaging and innovative learning solutions
- Experience in leading large-scale development of curriculum, including classroom, webinar, and computer based training modules
- Proven record of using automation and technology to improve efficiency and lower costs
- Superior interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels of employees and management across all functional areas
- Proven ability to create and maintain a collaborative work environment with critical business partners
- Dynamic verbal communicator, ability to garner the buy in of multiple areas
- Change agent, intuitive problem solver
- Proven record of excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Builds and leverages a network of experts to supplement ones own expertise
