Job Description

Perform PM inspections on all industrial production and building related equipmentDiagnose, troubleshoot and repair problems on all industrial production and facility related equipment including CNC machines, Lasers, and Robotic WeldersHazardous waste disposalExecute general maintenance work ordersRecord repairs, PM tasks, work orders, etc. on a PCMaintain, adjust, and test facility heating boilers, cooling towers, chillers, water treatment systems, and HVAC equipmentMonitor outside contractor performanceParticipate in, and support, Kaizen and continuous improvement activitiesPreferred qualifications include:Basic knowledge of hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, plumbing, electricity, lubrication, HVACProficient PC skills in MS Office products as well as preventative maintenance softwareGood communication skillsMust be able to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimalsBasic print reading level (electrical and hydraulic schematics desirable)Must be self directed, able to work independently and in a group environmentMust be able to manage multiple projects and tasksProven track record of innovation, ingenuity, creativity, attention to detail, ownership, integrity, accountability, and willingness to seek and take on challenges is required2nd Shift and 3rd Shift AvailableVolt is an Equal Opportunity Employer

Job Requirements

Requires frequent use of ladders, personal lifts at heights of up to 35 feet, and operation of various maintenance shop tools and equipment.Requires lifting of supplies, and materials up to 60 poundsHigh school education or equivalent.Three years of experience in facility maintenance, assembly, machining, or mechanics.ORTwo years vocational school with a certificate in one of the following trades: residential/commercial air conditioning, pneumatic/electronic controls, plumbing, electricity, welding, fluid power, or mechanics.Must obtain a Special Engineer State of Minnesota Low Pressure Boiler License within 90 days of employment as a Maintenance Mechanic.
