Marketing Manager, Employer Channel at Golden Valley

Join us and start doing your lifes best work.(sm) Responsible for product marketing to the employer channel and solution inception/ideation through design, build, launch and growth enhancement. He or she works across business units and product teams, and with external partners. Key components of this Employer channel solutions marketing role: 1. Voice of the customer 2. Market Sizing/Competitive Intelligence 3. Positioning/Differentiation/Value Proposition 4. Point of View 5. Solution Definition and Sales Enablement Roles and Responsibilities: Develop classical product marketing plans, including B2B promotional calendars and thought leadership strategies Working with product management and sales team, collect solution requirements from key buyer audiences ? - Build use cases for a new solution offering - Define the type of solution (product/service, bundle) - Facilitate competitive analysis - Validate solution concept Oversee the solution as it is built by product development/management, then tested and readied for commercial release Ensure the solution is serviced in a high-quality fashion; coordinate support tools, customer onboarding processes and training Develop market strategies to support products and drive membership/sales growth Support sales, including making prospect/customer calls, providing sales training content, contributing to internal and external social communities/blogs/portals, and facilitating sales training activities Partner on the future solution roadmap, as well as enhancement prioritization/rationale Optum is part of the family of companies that make UnitedHealth Group one of the leaders across most major segments of the US health care system. Job Requirements

B2B product marketing and communications skills Ability to develop a classical product marketing plans Ability to create a B2B promotional marketing plans Understands how to develop thought leadership strategy and content to support the business goals Project management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to influence product management, sales, operations and other marketing functions Understands business analytics and how to use them to drive decision making Ability to manage, track and report marketing expenses and budget 5 years of marketing experience 5 years experience in a deadline-driven environment Computer proficient 5 years experience managing and prioritizing several deliverables 5 years experience in meeting or exceeding sales promotion/marketing targets. 5 years experience influencing and collaborating with others Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity Bachelors degree Must be able to work in Golden Valley office Preferences: Product management experience Health care experience Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V.
