Job Description for LTC Facility Nursing Home Administrator :

 

We are currently looking for an Nursing Home Adminstrator to lead and direct the overall operations of the facility in accordance with customer needs, government regulations and company policies, with a focus on maintaining excellent care for the residents / patients while achieving the facilitys business objectives.

 

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Managing overall facility operations and leading by example with regards to customer service, employee relations, and quality assurance

  • Maintaining a working knowledge of, following, and enforcing all regulations, policies, and laws

  • Managing, communicating, and controlling the factors that affect the budget

  • Create an effective marketing strategy and lead an internal team in implementing the strategy

  • Evaluating, developing, and implementing new business opportunities that benefit the community, facility, and company

  • Complying with, supporting, and enforcing company safety and infection control policies

  • Promoting , understanding, and complying with all rules regarding residents rights

LTC Facility Nursing Home Administrator

Job Requirements for LTC Facility Nursing Home Administrator:

 

Candidates for the Nursing Home Administrator position should meet the following requirements:

 

  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and currently licensed by the state
  • Bachelors Degree or appropriate education to meet state licensure requirements and accomplish the job
  • Completion of the company EDIT Program and/or prior experience as an ED
  • Long term care (LTC), nursing home, assisted living, or home health care experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete multiple projects
  • Experience in performance management and effective leadership
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and travel as needed, including overnight stays
  • Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam, drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry if required
