ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITYIn this position, you will join a development team as part of Engagement Services business unit Information Technology group.You will be tackling difficult analysis and programming challenges with our flagship product, LINK.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with small development team on our software platform running .Net, C#, Windows Forms, SQL server, Web services tech stack.
• Implement algorithms and program changes to support business requirements.
• Create and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, views, and tables for developing new functionality and supporting existing functionality
• Analyze and use structured problem formulation techniques to translate business requirements to technical artifacts.
• Debug and troubleshoot software related issues as part of providing 3rd level application support for production issues.
• Work within the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including development, documentation, testing, implementation, and process improvements.
• Perform and review unit tests, code reviews and deployments.
• Propose standards and best practices in all technical areas related to the application.
• Create design documentation for all development work.
• Work with other developers in technical topics to develop a close knit high performance team.
• Work under minimal supervision, have ability to use independent judgment.

• Bachelors degree in business administration, computer science/software engineering or equivalent work experience
• Expertise in C#, Web services (WCF), Windows Forms, SQL and TSQL
• Source Control/Code Build experience with TFS.
• Ability to switch priorities and work in multiple projects.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills at the developer and manager level.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services preferred

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills at the developer and manager level
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services preferred
• Previous experience in the insurance or healthcare industry preferred
