Structural CAD Designer at Saint Paul

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Structural CAD Designer to support industrial, commercial and government projects.

Job Duties:

• Prepare AutoCAD drawings based on prototypical designs and redline mark-ups.
• Prepare structural plans, details and sections for masonry, concrete and steel buildings.
• Coordinate and work with architects and engineers on various design teams.
• Review shop drawing submittals

• Occasional travel may be required for site visits during the construction phase to observe progress and compliance with plans.
• Directly communicate comfortably and effectively with co-workers and clients

Job Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in CAD Technology & 5 years overall experience
• Experience with AutoCAD 2013 is required
• BIM (Revit) experience is preferred
• Experience with conceptual, preliminary and final system design, and preparation of construction drawings and specifications for buildings or other structures.
• Computer literacy including Revit, Autocad, MS Word and MS Excel preferred
