We are looking for a well-rounded engineer to join our Internet Systems Engineering team. We are a close-knit team devoted to bringing quality web engineering to our internal and external customers.-Hiring ManagerDepartment Responsibilities: This position will primarily lead the Wordpress application Architecture for migration of multiple content and lead generation websites to Wordpress. Ongoing, this position will provide support for all websites on Wordpress by installing applications and upgrades; migrating code and data; monitoring application performance; troubleshooting system and user issues. Position DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities: Define initial Wordpress application architecture to meet business requirements Supports Wordpress websites by installation, configuration, and testing of application software, defining system and operational policies and procedures. Migrate code and data between environments: Development, Test and Production Maintains Application performance by performing application monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting application software; designing and running maintenance scripts; escalating application problems to vendor. Upgrades Application system by conferring with vendors and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software in accordance with enterprise Change Control process. Identifies solutions to end-user issues that address the business need while maintaining environment stability. Updates job knowledge by monitoring application issues logged on reputable websites, monitoring software vendor site for issues and upcoming changes; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations. Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Provides 24x7 2nd-tier support. Working Conditions: Will be required to work outside normal business hours

Job Requirements

Education and or Certifications: BA/BS in MIS, CS or equivalent work experience requiredExperience and Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of similar experience in support of an Internet website on a LAMP stack Technical Skills and Abilities: In-depth knowledge of Internet Application architectures Domain and redirect routing knowledge beneficial, but not required: Akamai, Firewall, DNS, Apache, Proxies Wordpress development and design beneficial, but not required Soft Skills: Highly organized, detailed and accurate Strong troubleshooting skills Self starter, able to take initiative Strong and confident communication skills Multi-tasking and conflict management and can remain calm under these conditions Why make a move to FICO?
