Responsibilities:

 

  • Manages the client(s) relationships, assuring we are delivering the service they have contracted with us to provide.
  • Implements client requirements and changes in benefit programs.
  • Facilitates client meetings, including meeting agenda preparation, report generation, and follow-up.
  • Reviews and approves client financial statements, Summary Plan Descriptions, benefit communications and other client documents.
  • Forecasts and monitors client revenue, expenses and profitablity of clients to insure financial goals are met.  Recommends and obtains client fee increases, prepares contracts and amendments and collects accounts receivable. 
  • Maintains communications and effective working relationships with clients, and responds to requests from clients, government agencies, unions, participants, attorneys, and consultants.
  • Identifies opportunities to provide new services to our clients.  Initiates sales and marketing activities and implements regional marketing strategies, plans and goals. 
  • Ensures the resolution of customer/client service issues and coordinates successful implementation of new clients.
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities consistent with management values and mission. 
  • Job Requirements

    Qualifications:

     

  • Requires BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Pension and Health & Welfare employee benefit plans, preferably in an operations or account management role.
  • Strong knowledge of self-administered plans and related regulations (ERISA, HIPAA).
  • Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Proficient pc skills including Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
  • The ideal candidate will have the right blend of technical and relationship skills to deliver a high level of service that consistently meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Prior multi-employer and Taft-Hartley trust fund and/or pension experience is required.
  • Occasional travel is required.
